Looking for meaningful ways to connect at Second Baptist Church? “Connections” is the perfect opportunity for new members, those who consider this their church home, and anyone exploring the Second Baptist community to discover all that is available!

Second Baptist Church offers a Sunday morning opportunity specifically for new members and others who consider Second Baptist their church home and want to become more involved.  Connections is designed to encourage each person to find new energy and purpose through serving Christ in and through the church and to discover how God’s gifts and one’s personal interests and skills can come together here at Second Baptist Church. 

Led by Greg Duncan, this innovative 5-week class begins January 15, in Room 301 from 9:45–10:45 a.m. At the conclusion of the course, participants may choose to have a Connections Mentor who will continue to guide them as they make connections in the life of our faith community.

During the 5 weeks participants will:

• Explore how scripture guides the 2BC faith community including our values, vision, and mission

• Examine personal strengths and God-given gifts

• Discover how individual giftedness comes together to form stimulating and productive community

• Meet leaders who are guiding the 2BC community in meaningful ministry

• Find opportunities for individual contributions and personal relationships

• Connect more fully and deeply with Second Baptist!
