Directions

We are located 3 blocks east of Liberty Square and 3 blocks west of William Jewell College. Parking is available on the streets around the church block and the parking lot northeast of the building at the corner of Franklin and Lightburne. On most Sundays the city lots to the south of the building are also available.

There are entrances on all sides of the building.

The south entrance faces Kansas street and is the main entrance to the Welcome Center (It is handicap accessible -From there an elevator goes to all floors of the building. )

The north entrance faces Franklin street and is the main entrance to the sanctuary.

The west entrance of the building faces Leonard Street and leads to the preschool, children, and youth rooms and Second Friends Preschool.

(It is also handicap accessible.)

The east entrance faces Lightburne (33 Highway). It has a covered circle drive in case of inclement weather. (Please note this entrance has stairs just inside the door.)

Directions from Out of Town

The directions below put you on highway 152 going east into Liberty. Highway 152 becomes Kansas Avenue in Liberty. Stay on 152 (Kansas) going east into Liberty. It will become a one-way street and pass the Liberty Square. Second Baptist Church will be on the left 3 blocks later. You can park on the street on the north, west, and south sides of the church building or go to the far side of the church block and turn left onto Lightburne. The church parking lot is one block north on Lightburne on your right.

From the west: east on I-70 then north on I-35 then east (right) on 152

From the north: south on I-35 then east (left) on 152

From the northwest: South on I-29 then east on I-435 then east (left) on 152

From the south: north on I-71 then north on I-435 then north on I-35

                        then east (right) on 152

From the east:  west on I-70 then north on I-435 then north on I-35

                       then east (right) on 152
