MEMBERSHIP TEAM
About the Team
EVERY
member of Second Baptist Church could be considered a member of the
Membership Team because it is our responsibility and opportunity to
reach out to fellow church members and attenders. The ministry of the
Membership Team includes:
Reaching out to potential visitors in our daily lives
and through special activities to invite them to enjoy the community
and the worship we experience as members of Second Baptist Church.
Recognizing and welcoming visitors warmly, thus helping them feel comfortable, appreciated and interested in coming again.
Helping members of Second Baptist Church affirm the
reasons they appreciate being a member of this church and knowing how
to express that appreciation in an inviting way to others.
Helping members continue to feel connected, involved and appreciated throughout the time they remain members of this church.
Learning from former members how Second Baptist Church can be an even more inclusive and vital spiritual home for its members.
