How do you enter worship? Do you "come with joyful singing?" Or do you "bring an offering?" Or do you "extol the Lord at all times?" These are all quotes from the Psalms about how the Biblical writers encourage us to enter worship.
Terry York and David Bolin, in their book, "The Worship Matrix" explore the many different ways that modern day worshipers enter the Worship of God. They suggest that we enter worship many different ways: through the Word, through music, through fellowship, and through the place, or location of worship.
These next few weeks I would like to explore their ideas and find out what others are saying and discover if there are other doors through which people enter worship. I'll also interject some of my own thoughts and I hope you will respond with your comments. Worship is a dialogue and I think any discussion about worship should be as well.
Come back often, and let's go on a worship journey together.
