YOUNG ADULT / COLLEGE MINISTRY
Second Baptist Church’s YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY offers a solid church family to worship with and a welcoming place to belong, believe, and become.
The young adult group at Second Baptist Church ministers both to young
adults (20s) from congregational families and to students from William
Jewell College and other local area colleges.
• Participate in Bible study and worship with a historic Baptist
faith community, grounded in traditional Christian values, where
spiritual and intellectual faith exploration, personal discovery and fun
are on the menu!
• Bring your friends and join us for Bible study and a continental
breakfast at 9:45 a.m. on Sunday mornings. The discussion is informal,
lively, and challenging. Join us for worship on Sunday mornings at 8:30
or 11:00 a.m.
• THE GATHERING: New this fall!
Join our new College Ministry Coordinator on Sunday evenings for a meal,
Bible study, worship and conversation. Amber Riechers coordinates THE
GATHERING on Sunday nights with a meal from one of our local
restaurants. Food is free and no reservations required. Come when you
can. The meal begins at 5:00 p.m. followed from around 5:30-6:30 p.m.
with a discussion and study group environment lead by Jeff Langford.

• WEDNESDAY CAFE: Mid-week you can take a break from school studies for fellowship and
food on Wednesday nights, or for those who want to get more involved,
try the music ministry, mission teams or community ministry
opportunities.
We’ve got it all. No matter what your faith background, you are welcome.
