Sunday Mornings at Second

We gather each Sunday at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
The services share the same Scripture, prayers, and sermon. The difference is the sound and the setting.

The 9:00 service meets in Tutt Chapel and includes acoustic-led worship. The 11:00 service meets in the sanctuary and includes organ and choir. Between services, Bible study for all ages meets from 10:00–10:45 a.m.

If you’re worshiping from home, the 11:00 service is livestreamed each week.

Here you’ll find thoughtful preaching, shared leadership in worship, and a community that holds both conviction and curiosity. We believe belonging in Christ is given in love, not earned by agreement.

Second Baptist has been part of Liberty since 1843. We were founded with a missions conviction, and that outward focus still shapes who we are.

Life Beyond Sunday

Faith here is practiced in community. Children and students learn in spaces designed for them. Adults gather for study, conversation, and care. Members serve in Liberty and beyond through long-standing partnerships and hands-on projects.

Some connections are weekly. Some are seasonal. All are grounded in shared responsibility for the life of the church.
