We are thrilled that Mark Hayes, our guest conductor for Celebrate the Season, has agreed to host a pre-concert conversation in the sanctuary from 2:15-2:25 p.m. on December 13.

This is a unique opportunity to hear directly from an acclaimed composer and conductor. All of the selections at the concert—except for the handbells—are Mark’s own compositions. His music is performed in churches and universities around the world and is known for its distinctive American sound, blending gospel, jazz, pop, folk, and classical styles.

During the conversation, he will discuss the works to be performed during the concert and his compositional process. The concert will begin at 3 p.m.
